Im curious as to why someone hasnt figured out how to hack the Android Netflix app to work on normal linux distros.

Can NetFlix be made to work on Ubuntu 11.04? I really don't like having to boot into Win7 every time I want to use it.

DRM is your answer. when there is a DRM available for any type of possible silverlight (moonlight) plugin, it needs the DRM netflix uses to ensure you can't copy the videos you watch.

there's no programming available yet, which boggles my mind, but whatever, it's not happening until netflix makes a move or a couple of hackers figure out a work around.
