DRM is your answer. when there is a DRM available for any type of possible silverlight (moonlight) plugin, it needs the DRM netflix uses to ensure you can't copy the videos you watch.
there's no programming available yet, which boggles my mind, but whatever, it's not happening until netflix makes a move or a couple of hackers figure out a work around.
Until Chrome OS brings something to the table, I'd spend my money on companies that want it, and will support linux.
