Compiz /animations tab is blank/empty

Hi All,

I'm new to ubuntu and I've installed ubuntu 11.04. After my fresh installation all the animations were working perfectly but now after I installed MACUBUNTU, Compiz/Animations Add On is also installed with it and now the problem is that the ANIMATION TAB has gone blank/empty. ANIMATIONS is not showing anything. Please see the attachment for the screenshot

Please tell me what to do.

I did install compiz again but whenever I install macubuntu, the same thing happens. I want to know the solution to this problem.

I found the solution to this problem now. After you see this screen in the animations tab, uninstall both compiz fusion and compiz settings manager. Then first install compiz fusion and then install compiz advance settings manager. Install it through the terminal.

It will surely work

I did what you said but the compiz effect tab is blank empty, any solution? i have macbuntu installed.

i solved with purge

sudo apt-get purge compiz*

then reinstall all the compiz pakets

So, I'm having the same problem as him, when I installed Macbuntu on Ubuntu 11.10. ( ) I uninstalled it, but that didn't help anything! I also re-installed Compiz multiple times, to no avail..

Can I get help, please?
