I plan on learning as much as I can. After almost 2 years running Ubuntu, as much as I love it, it frustrates the hell out of me, to not be able to fix things when I have a problem. Linux can be a real pain, if you're not an expert...

Linux assumes you know exactly what you are doing

Ubuntu often abstracts from the complex and you need to get back to earth with CLI so as not to forget its roots LOL

Linux CLI proficiency does not mean you need to be a programmer, though Shell scripting knowleds is valuable of course.

And any programming knowledge is extremely valuable in pen-testing.

But i know a few security auditors who have little to know programming knowledge above scripting
