    Installing Windows from HDD?

    I'm wondering if I can install a copy of windows 7 directly from my HDD in ubuntu, I own a legitimate copy of windows 7 professional 64 bit, but my restore CD was bunk from my manufacturer. That's mainly why I'm using ubuntu right now.

    I tried burning the restore DVD but all of my blank dvd's are too scratched up to finish burning. Is there any other way to do this?

    Well the only flash drive I have is 3.7gb and the files 3.8gb.

    Is there a way to do it directly from my HDD? Or put the iso on multiple CD's?

    Good source of Win7 info is the Windows 7 forum sevenforums.com.

    See link below for tutorial on creating a bootable USB drive from your Win7 ISO: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/31541-windows-7-usb-dvd-download-tool.html?filter[3]=Installation and Setup

    As to installing it from Ubuntu, the answer is NO. You can install it using an ISO file, but you have do to that from inside an existing Windows installation.
    Ubuntu 20.04, Mint 19.10; MS Win10 Pro.
    Will not respond to PM requests for support -- use the forums.

    @Skasucks93:
    Check out this thread, it explains how install Fedora from a Fedora.iso file on hard drive, no USB, CD, DVD required. I'm thinking it might work for Win7 too, if it's a .iso file.
