Rare that I use a mouse - occasionally with GIMP, because I'm too cheap for a drawing tablet, but even then the trackpad is generally simpler and I haven't in ages; I usually use a clipboard full of paper as a mousepad when I do. It stays put and has the right give.

My dad bought this hp 635 about a week ago and it comes with a funny protector thing between the screen and keyboard,just discovered that its the best mouse-pad ever!
