Considering there's a penguin on his desktop, I'm guessing he already is running some variant of Linux.
If the only reason you think your software is better is because it's FOSS, you need to write better software

11.04 is just as stable as 10.04. Why do people constantly think otherwise?

Also most penguin species lives within temperate climates, very few live in the south pole.

11.04 has been buggy, for different reasons, on all three of my systems. Mint Debian Edition is starting to look more and more attractive. Hopefully 11.10 will turn things around here.

Deleted my post. I decided it is best that I not post in this thread. I thought the OP was humerus or satire; however, it appears that I am mistaken.

Use whatever OS or desktop works for you. Dual boot or use VMs if you want. Backup your computer regularly, and definitely before upgrading, partitioning, or installing an OS.

No support requests by PM please.

I am a big fan of Unity, but there is no way that my current 11.04 installation is as rock solid as the 10.04 installation it replaced.

I don't know why you would have deleted your post. You are not mistake. It was meant to be humor/satire. Lighten up people, it's only a cartoon...

I did however have to "upgrade" from a newer version of Ubuntu to 10.04. Somehow, my results are better with the LTS version. Other people are entitled to their own opinions as their results could easily differ from mine. (different hardware = different results)
