okay i'm thinking about taking out the mkiso part of the guide, as this makes a duplicate file of the original that is very large in size, and some people can't afford to have that big of hard drive space, plus it's sort of unneeded. i'm deciding on what is the best option, and i will revise the guide soon.

okay finally got it working correctly..Only one problem remains when using the next chapter button on my dvd it dumps me back to the beginning of the dvd anyway to fix this?
does that only happen with one video or all the videos or some?Originally Posted by lime4x4
all videos
then im guessing it must have something to do w/ the dvd player itself. i guess you'll just have to ignore it. you could ask on the tovid forums about it. its just as easy to register there as it is here: tovid forumOriginally Posted by lime4x4

When i run tovidgui i get thisTraceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/bin/tovidgui", line 22, in ?
import wxversion
ImportError: No module named wxversion
There was an error importing the 'wx' libraries. The above
output should help you find what went wrong. Re-installing
wxPython 2.6 (or upgrading from wxPython 2.4 to 2.6) may
help. Consult the tovid homepage (tovid.org) for further
assistance.
Sorry, 'tovidgui' will not work.
I am a very avid tovid user, the gui is in dire need of repairs, and it is way out of date. The command line is VERY easy to use, not hard at all. Heck if I can do it anyone can do it, trust me, I am serious.
The gui does not work well at all, since I switched to command line only, I have done over 30 DVDs without ANY issues at all.
