    Angry Connecting to College Wireless

    Hi,

I transferred to a new school, and I cannot seem to get any internet connection working, no matter how much I try.

The school doesn't officially support linux, but I found a small group of linux users who put up a short tutorial online.

The school uses an 802.1x connection with Tunneled TLS encryption. The tutorial instructed the use of "Thawte_Premium_server_CA" certificate from "/etc/ssl/certs" then entering login details.

That's exactly what I did and I kept trying to connect over and over. It didn't work.

I sent an email to one of the moderators of that group, and he said that some people can't get it to work the first time and I needed to keep trying, well, 50+ trials later, I still can't get it to work

Does anyone have ideas on connecting to this kind of network in kubuntu? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
