Thanks for the thread - I was just trying to edit my profile b/c I'm using Oneiric now, and was very confused.
FWIW, these are the most helpful forums I've ever seen on any topic (and I've never seen any spam) so you guys are obviously doing something right.

I meant just a single button with the purpose of informing the staff, not that the wording should be changed.

+1; also the least flaming and fighting.

I do occasionally see spam, but it's normally removed within minutes of my reporting it.

Question: If you were to remove the ability to see profiles when not logged in (which would automatically exclude the search engines), wouldn't that remove the incentive for spammers to manipulate the profiles?

This form of address is actually very common in India/Pakistan to address people in English in a friendly fashion (I hear it a lot over here in the UAE)

I'm not sure how much of it's a cultural thing, or how much it's the autistic side to my makeup, but people I don't know addressing me that way takes me out of my comfort zone. Be that as it may, most (all?) of the email I receive that begins with something like "Hello dear" is spam.

Is the ability to set the default subscription method blocked by the <50 post user limitations?
