Dial pad doesn't work on skype phone?

I'm running a Wubi install of Ubuntu 10.04 and Skype version 2.2 Beta. My issue is this, I just bought this Philips VOIP080 Skype Phone and the dial/key pad doesn't work (numbers, start/end call, nothing works). It shows up as an input/output device in PulseAudio so I can select it and I can hear and speak into the microphone and use it in skype, that part works fine. I figure with dial/keypad its some kind of hardware issue cause theres an installation cd that came with the phone but its for windows and even when I tried using the disc using Wine it wouldn't open or do anything, just errors. I looked around the net and forums for an answer, but no one seemed to address the problem with the dial/key pad, so maybe its me? Any ideas?

try the xpad.c driver.

Maybe will be necessary to compile it with USB ids of yours phone or add the Ids to running driver + udev actions.

Don't ask me how It's out of my knowledge.

But If you get it work, report here please.
