    Lighter, faster system.
There's a lot of us using it so you'll get just as much support as the main version.

Your system will definitely benefit from Lubuntu. You may be interested in Xubuntu too.
And your version is quite old too. Did it go EOL yet?

yeah, hardy is 8.04 lts long dead, current is 10.04 lts.

by the way, you want lubuntu 11.04 ( http://lubuntu.net/ ), past releases weren't as good.

    faster funner cooler SUPER AWSEM.

    Yeah, you should.

If you don't wanna completely erase your current operating system you can isntall Ubuntu side-by-side with your current OS. (Assuming you are using Windows/PC, Mac is a bit more complicated to dual-boot)
It felt like judgment, but it was only rain.

    Definitely, go for it.

Please get Lubuntu 11.04. Download it and check MD5SUM and compare it with hashes.

    A lot.
    1- It's a new OS (April, 2011).
    2- Super Fast, period.
3- Lots of support on the forum (here).

    Enough Said

Should you have any question related to LXDE and/or Lubuntu, please let me know

+1 After Canonical released Natty and I downloaded it and worked with Unity I discovered that I did not like it so I once again started distro searching. I looked at Lubuntu and will probably switch. It is smoking fast and has everything that I need.
