My YouTube videos won't work properly

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10, and when I try to watch a YouTube video today, it runs at twice the speed it should, and without any sound. It was fine yesterday and I haven't changed anything since then. I've also tried restarting and trying in Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome and Re-installing flash player didn't help.

Do you experience any other problems with flash apps on other websites? Might be a flash thing.

Things I think you could try:

- Disable hardware acceleration in Flash (right click the video; Settings....)

- Reinstall your flash plugin

Maybe one of these things works, but if not, they're not hurting. (If the hardware acceleration step doesn't work, reenable it)
