    Gnome 2 fork on its way?

    According to OMGubuntu a fork of Gnome2 is being developed.

    Yeah I read that too, right now it's only available for Arch Linux,(which is no problem for me because thats what I use ) but it should be coming around to Ubuntu soon, no doubt.


    I hate GNOME3 too.
    It felt like judgment, but it was only rain.

    I hate GNOME3 too.
    I'm guessing you hate GNOME Shell, I don't see why the energy in porting mate isn't just spent on making the "GNOME Classic Fallback" in GNOME 3 even more like the panels (though even right now I'm not sure what it's missing)
    well that or xcfe.
    If the only reason you think your software is better is because it's FOSS, you need to write better software
