    You are driving me nuts

Can you build the development version of libreoffice? http://www.documentfoundation.org/develop/

Re: libreoffice runs only with sudo

    Hi,

Felt in the same problem tonight after an upgrade from ocelot to pangolin. After installing, cleaning, purging, reinstalling debs from website, copying profiles from another working user and almost hanged myself, I "straced" the application and found that you only have to remove the .ure folder in you home (nice permission denied on some file in there).

    Now it works.

I had this problem and I fixed it by typing in the following:
    Code:
    sudo chown -vR myusername ~/.config
Apparently it's a permissions issue with the .config directory. You could also try granting write access to this folder and its subdirectories
