Hi all,

I am running several Ubuntu servers 10.04 and installed etckeeper on all of them. Instead of using a nightly backup (classic tar.gz of /etc/*), since the entire information including all previous versions is already contained in the bazaar history, wouldn't it make more sense to use bzr directly for a "backup" also?

My question is (as I am completely new to bzr): is it possible to create some sort of central repository server, like my workstation, and have each server commit the config changes to a dedicated branch or repository named after the hostname?

Or is this too complicated, forget about it, and just keep running my snapshot every day?

Thanks,
Stephan
