Mad Dog Goes into Powersave; unable to wake up computer

I'm having an issue with my new Mad Dog desktop. The computer will go into powersave mode while I am actively working on the machine. After going into powersave mode, I am unable to wake the machine using the mouse or keyboard. I am forced to do a hard reboot.

The weird thing is that I have set my powersave and hibernate settings so that the computer should never go into powersave mode.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

It doesn't sound to me like your system is actually suspending. What exactly are the symptoms you're having?
