count number of printed pages

hi

is there a software (for ubuntu) to count number of printed pages? i want a software to keep track of the number of pages i've printed with my printer.

You can see all jobs and how many pages each job printed at http://localhost:631/jobs?which_jobs=all

i did check it. it shows all print out for 1 printer which is directly connected to my PC. i have another printer which is connected via LAN cable to my router, and for this printer it displays the number of pages as 'unknown'

is it because it is connected to a router? if so, any solution?

Replace localhost with the IP address of the printer?

when replace localhost with the printer's IP address, i obtain a blank page. but when write only Http and the printer IP address, it brings me to a web service page. there i can see the number of pages that i've printed(but i think it is not accurate)
