hide uuid on boot - Ubuntu Encrypted LVM

    HI!
Is it possible to hide hdd UUDI on boot when system asks for encryption passhrase.
Now it is like "UUID:.....all these characters (/dev/sda5) is password protected.

Could it be just: /dev/sda5 is password protected. Without UUID.

    Thanks!

You could do that , but honestly I am not sure it really matters, the partition is encrypted either way and identified either way.

Is this just personal preference ?
