indicator workspaces

HI
i have a strange problem.
when i start my computer (Ubuntu 11.04 Encrypted LVM) everything starts OK except INDICATOR WORKSPACES. It only shows one desktop although i have 4 desktops. When i click on preferences and uncheck and check angin the "Start indicator at login" box (so it restarts) it works fine.
It is not "can't live with" problem, but it is annoying. So if anybody knows how to solve this ---> very appreciated.

that is not the thing.
i have 4 desktops... problem is, that indicator workspaces doesnt's show them at boot. i must restart indicator and then indicator shows me all 4 desktops...

any sugestions??

here is the solution:
i must have gone to compiz --> general settngs --> desktop size.
there set number of desktops to 4. (last option on that site)
that is it =)
