Question Issue saving a file Ubuntu 9.10 !

    Hello,

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10. When saving a file using Firefox or Thunderbird to hard drive, asks me where I want to save but if i want to create a new folder the cursor is placed in the front row of the window that contain the list of files in default folder, then give the name of the new folder and stay within the new folder to save the file but this took the name of the file that was in the previous folder and was the name of the file that have in first position in the window, conclusion i lost the originally file name.

The Nautilus installed under Ubuntu is version 2.28.1.

Please help to know if I should install some other package or if I should change something in my configuration.

    Regards,

    Carlos

Hi, I am not sure about your problem but you should upgrade to a newer release that is not supported so you can not even get security updates for it.
