New to the boards and Ubuntu and wasn't sure where to post this. I've been messing with trying to setup a website for a few days now with no luck. I had this site successfully running on Windows 7 using WAMP and No-Ip but have had zero luck on Ubuntu thus far. Thinking I could get this working I formatted and did away with Windows anticipating switching to Ubuntu for a permanent OS on my desktop. I'll try my best to explain what I've encountered. I've messed with some of the configuration files to point Apache to my site. When I enter the site address into a computer inside (http://localhost) or outside (http://jkb.servepics.com) my network it will only load the background (but not the background image) of my index page and very little else. The site is a flash template that loads a few modules on the index page for navigation and an mp3. None of this is currently happening. If I click my index.html file, it will load properly on my local machine. Any help will be greatly appreciated and I hope I've given enough information to get the ball rolling with some help. I've installed Ubuntu 11.04 desktop and what I believe to be the latest apache and no-ip. Thanks!
