DNS broken with 12.04

I upgraded to 12.04 and it seems all my internet activity is having DNS issues. I tried using the google DNS servers but it still take 4-5 refreshes to get a page to load.

Did any one else have this issue?

Post the output of:

cat /etc/resolv.conf

12.04 changed the way they do DNS.

Thought so.

Try disabling it via the link above and see if it fixes the problem.

I used the hash (#) to comment, I assume that's the right character?

Yea, adding a # is commenting it out.

Does this occur with web browsing only?

Nope, email and FTP as well

Have you tried setting the DNS server manually in network manager?

It sounds like it's definitely a DNS issue.
