problem installing ie8 with winetricks

i have wine-1.3.21 on ubuntu 10.4.
i followed the steps on http://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu
then i select winetricks from the menu, i select default for wineprefix, then i select install a windows DLL or component and then select ie8 and click OK, it just goes back to the previous screen????? nothing happens...

can someone help please?
