Which Netbook to Buy?

I want to buy a netbook on which I will run Ubuntu Netbook Remix. I've never used linux before and I want to learn. This netbook is going to serve as my introduction to Linux.

What do you think is the best netbook for this purpose? I want one which is guaranteed to face no compatibility problems with the OS and facilitates the greatest ease of use. I want a netbook on which UNR will work like a charm, without running into any problems (or, I want the netbook that comes closest to this possibility).

What do you recommend? I don't want to spend too much money (around $250 is my budget).

I'm looking at some Lenovo Ideapad netbooks (s9 / s10) on eBay which look pretty good...

Ok, my bad. Perhaps I shouldn't have used such strong language!

I guess I want to know what my best option is, even if that best option falls short of a "guarantee."

Which netbook(s) would be "most likely" to provide me with a problem-free installation and use of UNR?
