Thank you for the link. I'm in the market for an inexpensive laptop that will run Ubuntu. Question though, the certifications are for a model number like
ASUS Eee PC 1015PX
But in the stores the model numbers look something like
ASUS Eee PC 1015PX-MU17-RD
What are those other numbers, and are they still certified?

I can't seem to find a preloaded laptop, refurbished or based on older processors/chipsets that's affordable and "made" or distributed in the USA![]()
Neither in the UK. I tried to contact Asus about it but got no reply![]()

Asus responded that they have no plans to release 1015PX with Ubuntu in the UK.
