Question How do I (de)compress gz

    Hello everyone,

I am quite confused over this particular subject.

In the very beginning I thought that zlib can handle gzip compression. Then I found the gzip site and after a bit of reading I started believing I had to use something different. And, finally, after some more search on the net I found some people saying I have to use zlib.

The odd thing is that I can't seem to find any examples on the internet.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!!!

I googled for "zlib programming example" and found pages that looked interesting.
