    Berserk scroll arrows in Firefox

    Hi folks~

I'm running Xubuntu 10.04 on a Gateway NV laptop. When using Firefox, if I select either top/bottom scroll arrow on the right side of the browser window, it immediately goes into a non-stop scroll up/down the page in frustrating slowness. Nothing I have tried will interrupt the process, and it proceeds until it has reached the bottom of the page. Selecting inside the scroll window and jumping down/up by window height works fine, as does using the slider.

This is rather a pain in the butt, especially if the browser page is a long one.

Where might I be able to change a setting or otherwise fix this?

    Thanks so much!!

I have no idea about your problem, but on a similar note, I've noticed that using the [TAB] key to navigate a page in Firefox doesn't highlight the links anymore, making it mostly useless.

Never saw this problem before, but you can try to troubleshoot. See http://www.webgapps.org/tutorials/fi...roubleshooting
