How do you pronounce "Xfce"?

I wondered about this for a while. I contemplated the pronunciation "X-force" because it sounds cool and kinda right. I also considered "X-face" because as a DE it is a face of an underlying system. Then I read the wiki and found out that it's actually pronounced "Ex-Eff-See-Ee". While I understand the reasoning, it just doesn't sound right. It's a little cumbersome. Since the origional name WAS "XForms Common Environment", would anyone object if I use the "X-force" pronunciation denoting it's "XFORms Common Environment" beginnings?

I only pronounce every letter in an acronym when it's not easy to pronounce otherwise or if it's not commonly used/proper. I pronounced GNU as "new", I believe that's the correct way too, not sure. URL is easy to pronounce but I still pronounce every letter but some don't. The one thing I hate is when people pronounce GUI as a "gouey". Just the sound of that makes me shiver. its a Gee You Ai!
