Where to get Ubuntu Server 8.0.4

    Hi there,

I have to set up a Ubuntu Server as a VMWare Hostsystem. My Problem is, that VMWare Server only supports Ubuntu 8.0.4 and not the actual release.

    So my question is:
Has anyone an idea, where to find an ISO Download of Version 8.0.4?

    Thanks a lot in advance,
    regards,
    Mike

    Here you go:

    http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/hardy/

Scroll down to near the bottom for the 8.04.3 images.

By the way, I was surprised by this:

But I checked the VMWare Server 2 documentation and 8.04 is indeed the latest version supported as a host. Interesting.

There's no "8.0.4". VMWare Server supports Ubuntu 8.04, which is the "actual release". There was never an Ubuntu 8.0 as Ubuntu releases are numbered after the month and year of release (Ubuntu 8.04 was released in the 04th month of 2008.
I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.

Why point to the older release?
    Here is 8.04.4 LTS: http://releases.ubuntu.com/hardy/
