    Screen lock out

    Hiya.

Since installing Natty, my screen locks out (freezes) when not active for any length of time. First of all, i had my screen set to password to unlock , but no screensaver enabled.

then i selected a screen saver and set the time out to 15mins, with password to unlock.

Ive noticed that sometimes the screensaver doesn't always come on and sometimes, which is the more annoying of the two, the screen doesn't unlock.

By this i mean, that i wiggle the mouse or press a key and the screen stays black. I have to reboot it to sort it out.

Any clue on how to fix this issue?

    Meddy.

    try xscreensaver, in the REPOs.
Windows assumes the user is an idiot.
    Linux demands proof.

Looks like ubuntu are aware of the problem. Looks like a newer kernel is imminent. Currently following this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...iz/+bug/740126
