Panp7 Wont boot : udevd[257]-work: open dev/null: failed

I shut down my Panp7 last night and when i turned it on this is what i get about 20 seconds after the bios screen

udevd[257]-work: open dev/null: failed No such file or directory

Any ideas. I am running off of a Live USB right now. I have been looking around and dont see anyting out ther.

OK. SO. There is a bug tracking this.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575333. This has been an issue for a while spanning all recent releases of Ubuntu. Nothing there has helped. I can login by pressing ALT+F1 which brings me to the text based logon( my finger print reader works there too!). Then i startx and i am working. I have to do this every time i reboot.

I don't think this is a general problem with the PanP7, since I also have one and I don't need to do this. It sounds like a software corruption problem. What version of Ubuntu are you running on the machine?
