When i do a "Send To" from a file, i want the default mailer to be Thunderbird

Firefox does not have a mail client.....you might be thinking of Seamonkey Suite....with its mailclient,IRC,Webpage editor. You can configure Firefox to launch a mail client you use when you click on a mailto link. You might try Thunderbird if you have a webmail account...excellent application for POP or IMAP account.....easy to set up.
