Question Minecraft Exe file won't work with wine because of JRE problems

    Hello Ubuntu ppl!!,
I just got an exe file for Minecraft beta, and when i try to install it with wine this message pops up:
No JVM could be found on your system.
    Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME
to point to an installed 32-bit JDK or JRE or download a JRE from www.java.com

    thank you for the help.
    BTW UBUNTU ROCK!!!

Is there any reason you're trying to use a Windows executable through WINE with cross-platform software? Make sure you have the Java Runtime Environment installed ('sudo apt-get install default-jre' ... I think?) and download Minecraft.jar from the downloads section.
Any advice given is the direct result of my experience solving my problems on my system. I have no idea what I'm talking about. ~Bouge
