Total and absolute Brain fart!!need help with 11.04 wireless

I have had a total and absolute brain fart. I cannot understand why I was able to get my wireless working in Maveric, Mint 10 and Fedora 14 but cannot seem to get the wireless hardware (additional drivers) to detect my Broadcom wireless card on my Dell B130 Inspiron Or any other PC for that matter) using Natty Narwhal of Mint 11!!

Now ,, for some strange reason I had all the apt get codes but now I have had some sort of unexplainable Ubuntu brain fart and no matter what I do .. I just cannot find the code line to install those drivers or the (non-free) sources list for those dern drivers!!!

Any help would be much apreciated.

Well.. actually *again* it was a flase alarm. Wirless NOT fixed. I am still having trouble with setting up wirless in Natty and Mint 11 .. I just do not get what is wrong with that kernel, or what I am doing or not doing.

The above link is one of many 'must reads' that I found very helpful. I finally got my Linux Mint 11 (which is Ubuntu based) to work with the wireless Atheros card.

What I had to do was:

1.Eject Linksys Wireless -G Notebook Adapter (Broadcom chipset is reported with 'lspci')

2.Right click Network connections on menubar.

3. Edit Connections.

4. Delete most recent (or all) wireless connections.

Voila! Upon clicking the Network Connection Icon the available networks were ready. All I had to do was put in the WEP key.

I think now the same will go for Natty install.

Boy oh boy .. I am having brain farts galore these days. I just made a post in Testimonials about how the new Linux kernel busted my pen-drives and I just realized that on my Dell I have this Fn F2 key that enables the wireless and I was working with another Linux distro Mint11, and probably tuned it off because it is working now. Also I am definitely addicted to Ubuntu and Linux.. I just can't stop configuring different things.

So I am just going to keep reading along here. I see lot of other are having wireless probs also.
