Wireless: works on live CD, does not work after install

I think I am going to stay with LTS. LTS is running fine, and I don't think Unity is mature enough to warrant a switch for me. WiFi just works (after installing the STA driver), and I can get all the software I need just fine.

Unlike when I first started using Ubuntu (as a student), I no longer have the time to use software and an OS that isn't ready for prime time. Don't take that the wrong way, as I love Ubuntu's release cycle. But LTS versions are likely to be the best for me moving forward, as they're supported with the most stable software -- which is what I need at this point in my life.
