Email notification for reply in subscribed thread.. but no reply

I have that thread in the Community Market forum for a couple of computers I'm selling. I of course, subscribed to it, so I'd be aware of any replies within the thread. I get an email notification this morning, saying there was a reply at about 4am. I visit the thread. Nothin. I am guessing that either the person chose to remove their reply or a moderator deemed it unworthy of discussion quality. The message was kinda short and vague - I mostly just want to know wtf happened.

Kinda short and vague replies have a tendency of having spam in the sig - I'd hazard a guess that it was spam and that's why it's gone.
