I have tried installing several different ways (auto, manual partition, guided) with disks set as RAID 5,1 and single drive, but the install never sticks, and either it errors out on GRUB not installing, or it completes, but then fails to 'grub rescue'

ASUS tech support says it isn't supported, but I bought the board after reading several comments on the boards about it being a good platform for virtualizing.

I am guessing there is a tweak, or I am missing something obvious.

For the record, I have run the install with 10.10 desktop, server, alt, as well as 11.04.

Suggestions welcome.
