    Panel applets replacements

I have moved to Unity and I am quite satisfied. The thing I miss most are the old panel applets. In particular, I used:

    - CPUfreq to monitor and set the CPU frequency. I found
    Code:
    indicator-cpufreq
from ppa:artfwo/ppa, but it only displays one icon. The version of CPUfreq for Gnome 2 used to display two icons for my two processors, and this leaves me wondering. Will it be working? Are there any alternatives?

    - Sticky notes. I am not able to find a replacement for this. There are options like Tomboy, but they are just too complicated. Sticky notes was really unobstrusive, and it only required one click out of focus to minimize it. Is there anything like that for Unity?

The indicators that have replaced applets all have indicator in their names. You can search with Synaptic or the Software Center for those available in the repositories you have in Software Sources. Those available like for hardware sensors differ from their applet counterparts. They may be similar but many are a little less functional and may not use icons.
