Your wish was corrupted magnificently (again) but this time the effort taken was stupendous - reality was torn in several places in the process of granting it and it is unlikely we will ever know what or who we lost in the tears before they were repaired because any thing that was in the vicinity of the tears was wiped out from all of time so we've no recollection of them.

I wish I had thought twice before making such effort!

Granted. you thought twice before the effort, unfortunately that 2nd thought caused you to overcook your oatmeal. Instead of paying proper attention to your oatmeal, now your kitchen smells of burned oatmeal for eternity.

I wish the rabbits and squirrels near my house respected my property.

The rabbits and squirrels start respecting your property but the other wildlife seems to take this as their cue to completely harass you with regard to your property - somehow this all results in your kitchen stinking of burnt oatmeal and your toilet backing up all the time

I wish I could remember everything I've forgotten of any relevance or importance or that I might have to (or even just randomly decide to) pretend to know later.
