All the drives that you get from WD are DOA, so they make no sound whatsoever.

I wish Lightscribe discs would burn faster.
    AMD Athlon II x4 640 - ASUS M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 - 12GB RAM - XFX ATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB w/21.5" Monitor - Assorted HDDs - Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 120Gb SSD - [ArchLinux - Windows 7 - Mac OS X 10.6.8]
If all else fails, read the instructions.

Re: The "Corrupt a wish" game

In an odd accident involving lighter fluid and a small stack of litescribe discs you find that they can burn 10 times faster with the right incendiary - of course there is nothing very readable about a mass of molten plastic but boy did it ever burn quick!

I wish to dine with a bunch of social toffs after consuming a large quantity of baked beans

You do but the only way to get them to have dinner with you, is to hide the obviously stinky results of eating so many beans. You decide to uncork the wine before they come in and use the cork to err... contain your gases. As soon as everyone's seathed you unleash your payload but the pressure has built up so much that you're launched straight up through the ceiling, through the moon, through Venus, and right into Jupiter. Being made out of gas in the first place, Jupiter sucks up all of your beanfarts and multiplies its size 4 times over. The solar system is thrown off balance and the Earth crashes into the sun.

I wish LinuxFan999 would buy an Xbox 360.

An FPS on PC with a controller? BLASPHEMY! You are lynched by an angry mob of PC gamers. They hung you with a mouse cable.

You learn one tiny new detail about the OS of an old beta deck player.

Somebody does. Namely, you. You spend the rest of your life in complete paranoia.

I wish I'd posted my previous post before the OS wish got corrupted. Oh well.
