Macbook OSX host, Ubuntu guest (Virtualbox) issues

I have Linux Mint 11 32Bit (Based on U11.04) running as a guest in Virtualbox on a Macbook Pro and have a few issues.

I can't get the alt-grab feature to work. I have tried the two options in Preferences>Windows to use Super or Alt as the grab key, and I have made sure my keyboard layout is set to US-Macintosh.

Also, I was able to get Compiz to work but then I loose the window controls (min, max and close). When I run metacity instead I get the windows controls back but I would like to use Compiz for the desktop effects.

Any ideas?

Also, I can not drag or resize windows at all, it's not just the alt-grab feature.
