Ubuntu wired connection cant view sites other the google family sites

I have ubuntu 11.04 installed on my laptop, i cant view sites other than google family websites, i have tried disabling my firewall but still same results. Any help would be much appreciated.

what browser are you using? alos, most (50%) people are having some form of problems with Natty, I decided to just "downgrade"to Maverick (10.10), it works great! Check in you network proxy configurations System->Administration->Network Proxy, and make sure that the "Direct Connection" option is selected, then click "apply system-wide" this most likely will help, but I would still reccomend using Maverick (10.10) until Natty's bugs are fixed, Good Luck!!
