    how can i record all the web page addresses that i have visited using Ubuntu 10.04 irrespective of the browser used

    There are programs such as dansguardian or squid that act as web proxies and can log all the requests put through them. You can then either change the proxy setting in System Preferences or use a low-level firewall rule to force all HTTP or HTTPS traffic to go through your proxy.
