Please Help Hardrive Mounting Issues

Also one of the partitions is showing up 3 times on desktop it is the same partition 3 times and wont unmount because it says it is not mounted and wont open,

u said u used that partition to share file on the network right? well nfs is a "network file system" currently working.

try this hope it works:

kill -9 4191
exportfs -f
mount -o remount /dev/sdd2 (or sde2?)

Thats what I did I do not understand the ubuntu command line that well...
The actual harddrive started blinking its light and stuff but it still wont mount.

I really wish there was a way to force ubuntu to take control of drive and mount

It does recommend using another linux distribution that could be willing to take the risk of force mounting the drive. I may try that or I may try the open solaris disk.
