    Booting windows iso - GRUB

Not sure if this is the exact right spot for this post, so if it isn't please forgive me.

I've got an .ISO file of windows 7, but no DVD's to burn it to. I've read that I should be able to use GRUB to boot, but I can't exactly get it to work. I've been poking around the map function trying to sort of mount the iso somewhere within the hard drive, but I'm not sure if that's how it should be done.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Welcome to UF
As far as I'm aware Windows iso files can't be run from grub2. Not all Linux iso's can.
You can burn the image to a usb stick and boot from that maybe.

Maybe you could use virtualization. I recommend VirtualBox:

I'll look into virtualization.. The only flash drive Ive got is a 1g, and the iso itself is over 3.
