    Question usb modem connection not recognized

    Im using an USB modem to connect to internet via wvdial. Though i can access the web using browsers, the system doesnt acknowledge the connection(Its not displayed in network connections)
    Applications like Ubuntu One and evolution doesnt detect the connection. When i tether my mobile connection, these applications work.
    How can i make them work through my USB net connection?

    Im using Ubuntu 11.04
