best wifi card n software for site suveys

what is the best wifi card(easiest to configure) and software for ubuntu to do site surveys

I don't know about site survey stuff, but the NIC linked in my signature worked immediately after installing and booting. Though I did have the Linux-Firmware-Nonfree package installed, which may have been needed to make it work. Installing that package is really easy.
