    I went through all this.

None of them worked for me.
Some have no effects and some are not applicable.

    Please help me >_<.

    I cannot connect to this site, ubuntu.com, launchpad.net ...
I cannot update, upgrade or install anything...

Although I can ping them all.

    Thank you in advance...

    I tried everything!

I apologise but I don't know what does a 'terminal' mean?

Well, that guide has one interesting point related to this thread...
1.5.2. Connected, Issues with Certain Websites

    Disable IPv6.
But first, it's essential to understand what a terminal is.

Re: Unable to access certain websites from Ubuntu

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 are the Google public DNS IP addresses.
So your system gets configured to use Google's DNS to find the IP address of websites. I think this should be mentioned in the solution. I wouldn't want to use some random DNS servers somebody posted here.

sudo pppoeconf is for setting up DSL modems, if you have a router just ensure you setup the router properly and it'l work just as good as pppoeconf.
two important things in any internet connection is that router provides the correct internet DNS and DCHP server is enabled in router setup.
