    8.04. First Ubuntu version that actually worked for me, and in my opinion it still has better artwork than any version since.

    My first Ubuntu and the release that really put Ubuntu on the map as a top Linux distro and got some traction in mainstream tech media.

    The various booting screens do it for me.
    From an orange progress bar to a spotlight to orange dots to purple dots. I miss the orange bar the most.
