GIMP cannot start

In short, this is how I fixed the problem:

• set GTK theme to raleigh
• start GIMP once
• set GTK theme back to oxygen-gtk
• GIMP now works with oxygen-gtk, too!

It works with Kubuntu 11.04 x86. Thank you.

Hi all,

I made a clean install of Kubuntu 11.04 and cannot get gimp to work: GLib-WARNING **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.28.6/./glib/goption.c:2132: ignoring no-arg, optional-arg or filename flags (8) on option of type 0
Segmentation fault

Just for the record and the search engines:
wxglade has the same issue on a fresh kubuntu 11.04 install.

the mentioned fix partially works: Change the gtk theme to Raleigh and LEAVE IT THERE. Changing back to oxygen-gtk reintroduces the segfault.
